No “Nightmare” trailer for you!

Yeah, just what the title says. I have to give Fuller props for trying to get it released, though. But there you go, straight from Brad Fuller’s blog:

I am all too aware of the anger generated by their decision not to release the trailer on the Internet. As many of you know, I went to them and asked for it to be released, but frankly, I understand why they won’t. Our film comes out on April 30th. That is 9 months away – a really, really long time in the movie business. If they released the trailer now, it would surely be forgotten a few months from now, and then what? This amazing teaser would have not had the impact that it should. Believe me, as a fan, I share your frustration in not being able to see it, but it isn’t going anywhere. I am sure that each of you will see it, just closer to release. So don’t get bent out of shape because you have to wait, besides, many of you would have wished that you waited ’til later because after you see the teaser you will want to see the film so badly it will be brutal to wait the 9 months.

I am thinking Warner Bros has some sort of sorcerer or the real Freddy on payroll. How did they manage to not get this leaked online? Just like those pesky set photos that someone took but no one saw. We should be afraid. Very afraid.
